ICS is happy to report that the Women4IT project has made significant progress despite the Covid 19 situation and we are currently preparing for the year ahead. Learn more about it joining our informative webinars!

If you are a young woman between 19 and 29 years old, join one of the two informative webinars that will be held on the 18th of December at 12 pm and on the 11th of January at 1 pm  to show you more about the initiative and to see how this project can help you reshape your career or enter the digital/IT sector for the first time.

If you are an EMPLOYER or a RECRUITER, join a webinar that will take place on the  14th January at 12.30 pm. Women4IT is a great opportunity to get involved in an EU funded project, increase gender equality in your company and save time and expense in your recruiting process. Our graduates were trained by Sure Skills, who deliver high quality and up to date courses, so they are very skilled and highly motivated and could be a great addition to your company.

The aim of this European funded project is to improve diversity in the digital sector and at the same time to provide opportunities for young women in Ireland to gain employment in entry-level IT/Digital roles.

A crucial part of this programme is the training of 100 young women in Ireland for 5 different job profiles.

The first training session has been completed and two groups of qualified and motivated women are eager to find their next job opportunity and to put their new set of digital skills to use.

Qualified in either Data Analytics or in Graphic Design, the graduates are now looking to get back into employment. The mentoring system we had in place since the start of the training will continue and offer support during the job seeking process.

The second training session is ongoing and includes the Digital Media Executive and Junior Web Developer courses.

The last training session will be launched in early 2021 with different starting dates.

Due to demand, the Data analyst course will be run again starting on 18th January 2021 offering 2 full days of online classes for a duration of 7 weeks. The Customer Service Course will start at the beginning of February and we may also run the Digital Media course.
