Skills Connect

Skillnet Ireland is a business support agency of the Government of Ireland. The primary objective of Skillnet Ireland is to increase participation in enterprise training by businesses. Network companies work collaboratively to share best practices and to respond effectively to their business and skills needs. The agency supports 70 Skillnet Business Networks that are continuously working with enterprise partners to ensure an extensive range of supports are in place to assist businesses and the workforce through the COVID-19 crisis and beyond.

Through the Skills Connect initiative, a number of Skillnet Networks are developing sector-specific responses to support the rapid reskilling of workers most impacted by COVID-19.
