This fully online, part-time program spans over 2 years, with classes scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-10pm. The course structure is intensive, with a commitment of 25-31.3 hours per week in the initial semesters, increasing to 37.5-46.8 hours per week in the final semester. This schedule is designed to accommodate professionals, allowing them to balance work and study. The Orientation for the 2024 cohort is provisionally set for January 22nd and 23rd, with official confirmation of dates expected in September 2023.

Candidates applying for this program must hold a Level 8 Honours Degree in computing or a related STEM field with a minimum 2.2 award or higher. The course focuses on technical aspects, requiring applicants to have programming proficiency. However, the college offers flexibility through a Recognition of Prior Experiential Learning (RPEL) scheme, considering applicants without meeting the typical academic prerequisites, assessing them based on relevant work experience, a portfolio of learning, work demonstrations, and an interview, with programming skills being a crucial evaluation component.

The course fee per annum is €3,875, but eligible applicants from private or commercial semi-state organizations in the Republic of Ireland can access grant-aided fees of €2,950, supplemented by a €925 grant from the Technology Ireland ICT Skillnet. Government-funded training network criteria apply for fee reductions.
