2030 Digital Compass: the European way for the Digital Decade

The European way to a digitalised economy and society is about solidarity, prosperity, and sustainability, anchored in the empowerment of its citizens and businesses, ensuring the security and resilience of its digital ecosystem and supply chains. The Communication from the European Commission, published on 9 March 2021, sets out its vision and targets for a successful digital transformation of Europe by 2030.

It proposes a set of digital principles, to rapidly launch important multi-country projects, and to prepare a legislative proposal setting out a robust governance framework, to monitor progress – the Digital Compass 2030.
