Bebras & Scratch updates

This year’s Bebras Challenge saw almost 8,000 students take part in the initial round over November and December 2022. The in-person final is scheduled to take place at Maynooth University on May 6th 2023

This year’s Scratch  competition, which is open to 5 – 18-year-olds, promoting design, computational thinking, and problem solving, saw over 300 project submissions received and will have the in-person final taking place on May 10th at the University of Limerick.

Run in Ireland by the Irish Computer Society, the aim of Bebras is to get students all over the world excited about computing. Scratch is run by the Irish Computer Society and Lero, the Science Foundation Ireland Research Centre for Software.
