The COVID-19 pandemic has forced tens of millions of people out of work globally. As economies start to reopen, some jobs may not come back, at least not fast enough to meet demand. The jobs that do come back will require more digital skills.
Microsoft, LinkedIn, and GitHub have created the Global Skills Initiative to address this problem. The initiative aims to help people worldwide who have lost their jobs due to COVID-19 to reskill for in-demand roles.
